Barbara Minch has exhibited her art at the Newark Museum, NJ State Museum, Midland Center for the Arts, Ella Sharp Museum, Flint Institute of Art, Saginaw Art Museum, Woodmere Art Museum, Philadelphia Art Alliance and New Jersey Center for the Visual Arts. She has been in group and solo exhibitions at Gallery Henoch, NY, Gross McCleaf Gallery, Philadelphia and Suzanne Gross Gallery, Philadelphia.
Minch teaches collage at the Montclair Art Museum and is the director of the Exhibitors’ Co-Op, a critique group of professional artists.
Paper clay, paper collage, UVSL gels and varnishes

This life-sized sculpture was made with my own homemade paper clay, which is durable and sturdier than ceramic clay. I used magazine print and printed materials, which I layered to create my own original patterns. This labor intensive work took a year to create.
