Donna O’Grady was born in Jersey City, currently resides in Hoboken and has her studio in the Neumann Leather Building. Her paintings represent three of her loves in life- NYC area, sailing and travel. While most people snap photos of their favorite scenes, she gets inspired to paint the places she’s been.
Her portable easel allows Donna to paint En Plein Air anywhere she goes including painting on her sailboat Peregrine. She tries to capture the beauty of the way light effects each scene. Donna hopes that through her paintings she can share her experiences and bring to life some of your favorite places as well.
Donna’s art work resides in many private residents. She studied at the Art Students League and School of Visual Arts in New York and attends painting workshops in Italy.
