Residency for an artist with a disability


Art Fair 14C is pleased to offer a 6-month residency at Art 150 to an artist with a disability – the 2021 artist is Danielle Scott.

Art Fair 14C recognizes that disabilities can come in many forms and are not always physical and not always visible. They can include people with mental illness, chronic diseases, chronic pain, autism and learning disabilities.

Residency for a recent MFA graduate


Art Fair 14C is pleased to offer a 6-month residency at Art 150 to an artist who has recently completed an MFA.

The residency will run from July 1 through December 31, 2021.

The chosen artist will have access to a 400 sq ft artist’s studio at Art 150 in Jersey City, NJ.

The residency does NOT include housing, transportation or meals, so applicants must either have or provide their own housing in or near Jersey City. Art 150 is located at 150 Bay Street in downtown Jersey City, two blocks from the Grove Street PATH station.

The artist will receive a stipend of up to $1000 for art supplies and will be given the opportunity to exhibit their work at Art 150 and at Art Fair 14C.

The resident artist will receive consultations and mentorship from the directors of Art Fair14C and other relevant arts professionals, providing critical conversation around artwork as well as guidance on development and ideation.

To be eligible for this residency, artists must be at least 18 years old, must have received an MFA from an accredited institution in either 2020 or 2021, and must be able to provide their own transportation to Art 150. There is no fee to apply.
