THE SHOWCASE

A unique element of Art Fair 14C is The Showcase, which provides an exhibition space at the fair for individual artists, giving them greater exposure to collectors, galleries and museums.

At Art Fair 14C, The Showcase is open to artists who live, or have a studio, in the state of New Jersey.

Our strong preference is for artwork that is available for sale, but it is not a requirement for The Showcase.  Art Fair 14C takes a 30% commission on all sales from The Showcase during the week of the fair.

Showcase artists also receive lifetime attendence to Art Fair 14C for themselves and a guest, as well as exhibition and residency opportunities during the rest of the year.

One artist from the 2022 Showcase will be awarded the Grand Prize of a free exhibition booth at the 5th Edition of Art Fair 14C in 2023.

What is the difference between The Showcase and an exhibition booth at Art Fair 14C?

Artists accepted to The Showcase get free exhibition space at the fair, though it is significantly smaller than the booth sizes (in 2021 each artist had 2 walls, each 10′ high and 6′ wide).  Exhibition booths can cost between $900 and $6000.

The Art Fair 14C team is responsible for staffing and sales for The Showcase, and retains a 30% commission on sales.  Exhibition booths are the responsibility of the exhibitor and they retain 100% of all sales.
