What is an Art Crawl?

The Art Crawl is a self-guided tour that focuses on a single, walkable neighborhood in Jersey City, bringing together arts events and exhibitions with local businesses, which offer discounts or other promotions for the Art Crawlers.

After expanding to the Heights, Bergen Lafayette and Journal Square neighborhoods in 2024, in 2025 Art Crawl returns Downtown to the Powerhouse Arts District for the first two Crawls of the year – on Friday April 11, 2025 and Friday May 9, 2025.

Other neighborhood Crawls are still TBD.

Want to propose a new Jersey City neighborhood for an Art Crawl in 2025? There must be a minimum of 5 arts spaces and 4 food & beverage partners within a walkable neighborhood, with the two furthest points on the map no more than a 15-minute walk. Contact us at [email protected]
