The Venue

Art Fair 14C moves to its 5th venue for its 6th Edition – the 40,000 sq ft 4th floor of Project 14C in the historic 150 Bay Street building in the Powerhouse Arts District of downtown Jersey City. The space was built out in 2020 with the intention to house the student athletes of Alliance University, which closed permanently in 2023.

The 4th floor is currently hosting Project 14C’s Special Project Residency program, which ends April 15, and in June 2025 will welcome artists of all disciplines for 12-month live/work residencies.

22 LARGE LOFT STUDIO SPACES

There are 22 large, light and airy spaces for exhibitors for Art Fair 14C, ranging from 877 sq ft (81.5 sq m) to 1504 sq ft (140 sq m).

Each is a unique space, though all have polished concrete floors, 12 ft (3.7m) ceiling height, large windows, a kitchenette and two bathrooms. We will place temporary exhibition walls in each of the larger spaces (as needed), with 8 ft (2.5m) height and varying length to supplement the existing walls. 

There are two options for exhibitors:

• renting an entire loft studio for the period of the fair – exhibitors who choose this option are also able to stay in the studios overnight, saving a hotel charge. Project 14C has beds available that would be turned into couches or day beds during public hours, and each studio has two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. Prices are $10 per square foot and range from $8.7k+ to $15k+.

• renting a booth and/or exhibition wall within a shared studio – these are available for $70 per linear foot in width.

Important dates

Deadline to apply: Monday, February 10, 2025, 11:59pm ET.

Exhibitors will be notified no later than March 1, 2025.

Because Art Fair 14C controls the venue, customization and installation can begin as early as April 15, but must be complete by Wednesday May 7, 2025.
