Kathleen Beausoleil

Kathleen Beausoleil is a visual artist working primarily with oil on canvas or panel and ink to explore human social interaction. Observing how people organize and the spaces they create between them, Beausoleil captures and harnesses movement to create joyous paintings that have a distinct sensory tangibility.
Beausoleil received a 2022 Fellowship from the NJ State Council on the Arts and recently completed her first solo show at the Monmouth Museum. She was included in The Drawing Center’s Viewing Program and attended several Artist in Residency programs. Such residencies include at Cuttyhunk Island, Chalk Hill, Da Vinci Art Alliance and the Artist *Forests* Community, sponsored by the Holter Museum of Art and Helena National Forest.
Beausoleil’s work is in the permanent collection of The Art Museum of Missoula as well as in private collections throughout the United States. She received her BFA Cum Laude at Syracuse University.
