“The Recreation” with Donald Gallagher

Sunday, October 15 – 2pm, 3:30 pm and 5pm

 Artist Donald Gallagher began his restoration of Grace Van Vorst Chruch’s sanctuary on March 31, 1987. During the studio tour, the church sanctuary will be open and guests will be free to peruse the decorative arches, the clear story windows, the dado and ground floor windows brought back to life with Donald’s paint brushes.

Mural Bus Tours

Mural aficionado and appointed mural arts committee member Jayne Freeman takes us on a guided tour of some of the most famous murals our city has to offer, plus some of the more secret and hidden gems.

LGBTQ+ Art Bus Tour

Saturday, October 14

Join curator Catherine Hecht for the fifth annual JCAST LGBTQ+ Tour, featuring artwork created by local Queer Artists.

We will travel to 6 different exhibition spaces and highlight 10 talented out-queer-artists who work in various mediums. If you have ever been on one of Cat’s tours then you know there will be surprises planned along the way!
